Boy I Tell You, It is Hot!

Today is going to get up to 73 degrees. I know this isn't that bad, believe me, I've endured temperatures up to 114 degrees, but our place is pretty small and we do not have air conditioning, so our place gets really warm, especially during the night. It gets so warm that we've been sleeping with our door open these past few days.
So this morning when I got up, I had these things in mind: Warmth, Sun, Lemon Ice Tea, Champ de Fleurs (Field of Flowers), and good music.
I'm totally feeling this vibe, of what I feel would be like living in the South. I am obsessed with the South, during the 1910's-1950's. Big old plantation homes, humidity, rich families, summer picnics lots of flowers. Summer romance. Le sigh!!!

So these are my pictures for today!

Hope you have a wonderful day.

YES, YES, YES!!!

For some reason I've been really into Chamomile lately. Chamomile shampoo specifically, and it's sad that I'm advertising this for free but I really can't get over how amazing Herbal Essence's first shampoo was.
I guess they stopped making it and have just this year re-introduced it again. Read Here
I'm telling you guys, it smells AMAZING! Not only does it smell so good, but I've never had this much volume in my hair. Like EVER!!!
I know I'm supposed to wash my hair every day, but usually if I go one day without shampooing, my hair feels super gross and greasy. I don't know why, it just happens, and this makes me sad, but seriously, I hope they don't discontinue this shampoo because it's amazing, just amazing.
The smell is subtle but strong enough to last all day and the next. It smells like a field of flowers, honey, lemons, grass, sunshine, and the perfume which they use isn't offensive or empowering. Like I said, it's subtle.
I heard Chamomile supposedly lightens up the hair, which is the only downer for me because I'm trying really hard to keep my hair dark.

Seriously guys, go to Target, and take a big whiff of this heavenly smell. You will fall in love. I guarantee it!
Oh, and let me know what your feelings are about it!

Edgar Degas

Edgar Degas is a French artist, and one of my favorites!
His works in painting, and sculpting are amazing. His work is able to capture movement, and project certain moods, as they are notable for their psychological complexity and for their portrayal of human isolation.

He is best known for his ballerinas, but today I am sharing
Interior at Menil-Hubert, 1892

and Woman in Bathtub 1889.
